The General Assembly is the most important body of the UVRP. The main areas of responsibility of the General Assembly are:

• moulding the activity of the UVRP according to its charter
• passing the URVP’s charter, regulations of proceedings of the General Assembly and making changes in these documents
• electing and dismissing the Chairman of the General Assembly, Executive Board and Audit Committee
• passing the UVRP’s budget
• making resolutions in terms of joining national and international organisations and leaving those organisations
• delegating representatives of the UVRP’s to other organisations and institutions
